About Kaovao Bass Inlet
Kaovao Bass Inlet is a compact strategy game about a tidal channel, one precious nest and the shore creatures who defend it. It runs in your browser, costs nothing and collects nothing from you.
An inlet made of glass
Picture morning light falling through a window of sea glass onto a rocky channel. Each coloured pane is a patch of water, each dark seam a reef or a ledge. At the far end of the inlet the bass rests over her eggs, and the invaders swim straight towards her.
How the defense works
Pike and catfish enter from the open sea and follow the winding channel. You spend shells to post herons, nets and otters on the ledges and raise them as the waves grow tougher. Hold out for ten waves with at least one heart left and the nest survives. Your score adds up every invader stopped plus a bonus for each heart that remains.
The Tide Window
On your first visit in a session, a round window of eight sea-glass panes spins by itself and settles on one boon: extra shells, more hearts, a slower tide, a free otter and others. The pick is random, made in your browser, and only changes how this game plays for the current session.
Entertainment and nothing else
There are no purchases, deposits, prizes or cash-outs, and shells, points and boons can never be exchanged for money or anything of value. Kaovao Bass Inlet is not a gambling product and does not imitate one. It is a small tactics puzzle with fish.
Made for adults
The site is intended for adults aged 19 and over. Play at your own rhythm, take breaks, and remember that a strong score here says nothing about luck anywhere else.
