Kaovao Bass Inlet is built to know as little about you as possible. This policy explains the small amount of information involved when you visit and how it is handled.
Who is responsible

No accounts, ads or tracking
There is no sign-up, login or form on this site. We use no analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or social media trackers, and we do not sell or share personal data.
Hosting logs
As with any website, our hosting provider may record technical data when your browser requests a page, such as IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type and status code. These logs keep the site secure and working and are deleted after a short period.
Local storage on your device
Your browser's local storage keeps two small values on your device: your chosen language (kv-lang) and your best score (kv-best). They are never sent to us, and you can remove them at any time by clearing site data.
Session storage for the Tide Window
Session storage remembers which boon the Tide Window gave (kv-boon), so the window turns only once per browser session. It is removed automatically when you close the tab or window.
Game state in the page
Waves, shells, hearts and defenders exist only in the page's memory while you play. Nothing about your rounds is sent to us or anyone else.
Emails you send us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever your message contains. We use it only to reply and keep it no longer than needed to deal with your request, normally no more than twelve months.
Purposes and legal basis
We process this limited information to run the site securely (our legitimate interest), to remember your preferences on your own device and to answer messages you choose to send.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to complain to a data protection authority. Write to our privacy address to use these rights.
Web fonts
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver the font files, Google receives your IP address and basic browser details under its own privacy policy. No other third-party services are used.
